Panos Manolopoulos participated in the 4th China-UAE Business Conference and 2ndInvestment Seminar that took place in Sharjah on the 18thand 19thof January, 2011.

The Forum was hosted by Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and welcomed the Prime Minister of China, HE Wen Jiabao, who warmly embraced the increasingly stronger bonds between the UAE and China.  This message was further reinforced by the speech of HH Jasim Bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Qatar Minister of Trade & the Chairman of the Economic and Social Council of LAS and the leader from Arab Side for the Arab-Chinese Conference.

The conference was attended by many leaders from the broader GCC region, both from the political as well as from the business arena, while, during the second day, a series of one-to-one meetings between prominent businessmen from the Arab and the Chinese markets met and discussed on opportunities for future collaboration.
